Tim Bayne is an executive creative leader and brand storyteller with more than 25 years of experience shaping and evolving consumer brands across agency and in-house organizations.

He spent over two decades at BBDO New York, where he served as Executive Vice President and Global Executive Creative Director, leading brand platform development and integrated campaigns for brands including M&M’s, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Mountain Dew, AT&T, Humana, and American Family Insurance. For 14 years, he led creative across all channels for M&M’s, including seven years overseeing global work across multiple international markets.

More recently, his work has focused on in-house creative leadership and organizational development. As Vice President of Creative at Destination XL Group, he led a multidisciplinary team responsible for brand expression across digital, e-commerce, paid media, video, and retail — scaling content production while introducing AI-enabled workflows to increase speed, efficiency, and output.

In addition to his in-house leadership, he has worked as an independent creative director and brand consultant, partnering with internal marketing leaders and agency partners to help define brand positioning, develop storytelling platforms, serve as a brand steward, and guide execution across product launches and campaigns.

Tim is a collaborative creative leader who believes creativity should function as a business lever — one that, when embedded across an organization, drives differentiation, accelerates growth, and improves how teams solve problems beyond marketing.
